Katherine Selby has enjoyed running for 15 years. She runs for physical and mental wellbeing and prioritises fitness, fun and fundraising over PBs. A keen run leader and race marshal, Katherine likes nothing more than helping others embrace the sport that has brought her such a profound sense of wellbeing. She has completed three marathons for charities close to her heart, plus a handful of half marathons, the London 10 Mile and a clutch of 10K races, not to mention a number of virtual running events in aid of MIND. A health and fitness PR and journalist, Katherine has written a number of real-life stories about inspirational runners she has met including one who ran seven marathons in seven days on seven continents and another who ran 10 marathons in 10 days to celebrate her 50th birthday. She also reported first-hand her experience of guiding a blind runner round a half-marathon course. Katherine has recently joined OLRC and is getting nicely into her stride enjoying the social buzz as much as the wind in her hair.
